Dr Ambreen Mansoor

Ambreen is a fully qualified Obstetrician, Gynaecologist and Minimally Invasive surgeon, currently serving Community of South Western Sydney in both public and private settings.

 

She works as Staff Specialist at Blacktown Hospital managing high risk pregnant patients and complex gynaecological pathologies.

She has a special interest in management of infertility and minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopy and hysteroscopy).

She underwent early formative Obstetrics and Gynaecology training at a premier tertiary institute in Lahore, Pakistan. After completion of her fellowship there, she obtained fellowship of Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, UK.

​

She has a special interest in Fertility treatment, and has gained valuable experience in managing complicated cases of infertility in Kuwait, where she worked as a Fertility specialist in a renowned Fertility and IVF centre for 4 years.

​

In 2013, Ambreen relocated to Australia with her family and calls our wonderful country home. She pursued further training and is a Fellow of Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists since 2014.

She has worked in multiple metropolitan and rural centres across the country and is actively involved in training of medical students and junior doctors.

She is Conjoint Lecturer at School of Medicine, Western UNSW. She has been a training supervisor of doctors specialising in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the LHD. 

​

Having worked in diverse clinical settings across multiple countries, she understands needs and cultural sensitivities of different communities. Ambreen combines an exceptional level of expertise in her chosen fields with a natural compassion and understanding of her patients' needs. She is a calm listener and treats women with utmost respect and dignity. She prides herself in evidence based management plans.

Apart from English, she communicates fluently in Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi.
